The beach house offers three bedrooms, two with their own private decks, living with covered outdoor private area with established olive trees. Large wall TV with DVD player and good selection of DVD's, or Netflix available from your laptops, a large assortment of books, and games for the lazy days.
FREE Wifi, SKY TV and Netflix (through your laptop) - Easy walk to 2 ocean beaches to surf, swim or simply laze on the beach.

Great for swimming, diving, surfing, fishing, windsurfing, canoeing, walking and relaxing.
Local beautiful nature walks amongst New Zealand wildlife and birds including the kiwi.

10 minutes drive away are takeaways bottlestore, Four Square, hairdresser, Parua Bay GAS petrol station, gym and the historic Parua Bay Tavern for great meals with the locals.

Pataua South is a taste of New Zealand coastal village beach life and easy living.

Visiting here is just as good in the winterless northtime as the glorious summertime.

The locals are friendly, have their own magazine - "Bridging the Gap", regular fishing competitions, and an easy atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

Meet friends doing the Long NZ Walk & had lunch on the foreshore. Was a lovely view & great spot
Had fun at this beach, and did a mean as manu off the bridge
A beaut spot and a sheltered sparkling clear estuary. Lovely little bridge to walk across or jump from at high tide. We were there in midsummer and there was a coffee cart within walking distance at Pātaua North, and a surf beach.
Pataua South steps back in time. It's perfect for making memories for your children & yourself!!. Lots of swimming places. The bridge is a final point & joins north & south. Love this place as do my children & now my grandchildren
Love it here. Nice little estuary that's safe for kids, a footbridge to the north side that's good for bombs, a pleasant walk to a decent beach, shop for ice creams.... a great spot!
Beautiful coastline. Safe swimmimg in the estuary and good surf for the thrill seekers. Nice to take the kids fishing off the rocks or put the line over the bridge. 2 public toilets. Take a picnic and stay for the day
A wonderful day out with kuzins and fishing as we court a Jon dorey wow and drop three otherrs oh well they'll be there nxt visit
Great place for the kids to jump off the bridge into the water. Also good to paddle board.
A small village of private homes and baches at the end of a beautiful drive. There is a long wooden footbridge across the river to Pataua North. Great location if you like quiet with little to do except relax. No shops. Great views.
An awesome little tidal inlet with a bridge spanning it and that you can jump off bonus The tidal flow here is quite rapid so you need to be a confident swimmer our you may get into trouble, that said it will only take you too the mouth entrace and deposit you back on the beach on the ocean side of the sandspit. 7/10 overall
