Amazing place to visit! Love the vibe and the gallery set up. Nice big library and great it has a cafe onsite, which was very busy. A good sign of great kai. Great display of Ngatitoa history on at the moment! Definitely recommend to check it out.

Pataka has some really interesting exhibitions and is a must-visit when visiting Wellington if visual arts are your thing. Good cafe and restful places to sit along with very tempting shopping. Very welcoming staff
I love this place. Every time I go, I'm amazed. Informed, entertained, inspired, and glad have such a place on my doorstep. And the cafe is a living treasure.
A great museum. Free to visit. Popular cafe. Nice staff... the real gem is the Ngati Toa display which is in the rear gallery. The way they have displayed the taonga is incredibly beautiful. Whole glass panel floor to ceiling with a small tiki inside that you can see both sides. Breathtaking!!!!
