Placed was packed even in winter. Their ice cream is very good. They have a lot of other options other than ice cream too. Maybe that’s why there were a lot of customers even during winter time.nnThey had good heating inside the store. They have an “open kitchen” chocolate workshop located on the second floor, which is also where the toilets are located. There are additional seat too.
Not only do they have ice cream but they do have hot drinks as well, a perfect spot to hang out in the heat or cold. Their ice creams are creamy and delish, and their hot chocolates are thick and taste excellent. There is plenty of seating on both the first and second floor. Lines tend to be long since it’s a popular spot but it moves pretty quickly unless you have someone in front of you ordering a bunch.
Located by the pier, this charming shop offers a cozy and fun atmosphere with the option to watch the shop operations downstairs or enjoy a quiet view of the lake activities upstairs. The generous tasting and very big scoops make it a must-visit spot, especially for the award-winning Hazelnut and famous local flavor Hokey Pokey. The smooth and creamy ice cream leaves a nice touch after a meal or as a refreshing treat. Don't forget to try their popular chocolates or enjoy a hot chocolate on a cold day. The upstairs restroom is clean and the lovely staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!
Superb ice cream!!! Big scoops!! Good pricing for double scoop. Enjoyed the cone very much too. There’s always a long line, but it moves pretty fast. It’s so good we had this twice.
This place has the best ice cream we have ever tasted.nGreat selection to try at very reasonable prices $7 for one scoop. Also large selection of home made chocolate with a special shout out to Sarah Atkinson the chocolate maker. I so wanted to try some of the cheesecake as well but that would have just been greedy. A must stop on any visit to Queenstown.
