Was introduced to this place for a works meal, and honestly I’ll never rue that day! Went back again a week later. The pasta is how it should be, the flavours and ingredients authentic to Italian cuisine like using guanciale. The pizzas are spot on, amongst the best I’ve had and I’ve had them in Naples - the tomato bases have so much flavour in them. The chilli oil on the tables is hot, and delicious. Warmed olives was a new one for me and it is my new favourite thing! The tiramisu and gelato were perfect.
An excellent Italian restaurant, in the middle of New Zealand, the owner of the place is an amazing Italian, the food is so delicious and meticulously prepared, one of the best I've ever eaten in my life, courteous, inviting and smiling service, in short, run to the restaurant and thank me afterwards
Came here for lunch today. Fantastic local eatery. Warmly greeted by staff. Great vibe. Excellent food and customer service. Neat little outdoor area. My niece and I had the Italian big breakfast and were more than impressed. Nice coffee too! Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends Well done team, this is what great hospitality is about. Cheers!
Wonderful time at this amazing restaurant!!! Staff was so lovely and accommodating. We had a fairly large group and didn't feel rushed or pressured to finish our food. During the end of the evening the staff brought out a birthday cake and sung happy birthday to my friend,who's birthday dinner it was. Lovely young waitress was so sweet and patient to us when ordering our food. Food was astonishing and overall had the best time. Will be coming back as soon as possible :

Friendly attentive service, great food not a long wait despite being very busy on a Monday night, obviously a popular place. Pleasant outside eating area. Creme Brulee was amazing. Good portion size too. Parking: Easy and adequate parking at the entrance
I loved the food and the service. The chef knocked it out of the park. The bacon wrapped veal straps were cooked to perfection and pared with the roasted broccoli it made for a beautiful meal.
We love Passo and are so lucky to have it just around the corner from home. The service is always really friendly and upbeat, the food is delicious authentic Italian pizza like nowhere else, and you can easily pass a few hours out the back in the sun. Highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but you can do 1/2&1/2 pizzas which is great to split with the kids. The starters like the fish bites are also ideal as a main for kids.
Ordered on website and told 5:25 delivery, called to double check as we know they've had some issues. Told delivery is all good but it'll be 5:45 as the driver doesn't start until 5:30. It's almost 7pm, we have no food, called at 6:30 and they said it was 1 minute away. Now they won't answer the phone. We have 5 hungry kids and no idea if we're ever getting our meal. Edit: 3 hours after we ordered and our kids are now in bed we finally got the news they never even started our order so both earlier phone calls it appears they didn't even check the status of our order just told us what we wanted to hear. Being busy sucks and we've always been supportive and sympathetic to that but the lack of communication and lying about our order was not ok. You took away our opportunity to adapt or make a new plan.
Recommended by a local the Margarita pizza was scrumptious and generous. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor options, great coffee, well stocked bar and wine selections, with friendly, efficient staff. Pizza, pasta, gelato, what’s not to like!
