I loved it! A long drive but worth it. The tide was out so there was loads of mud flats, which were fun to walk on. I walked out to the sea taking care not to disturb the birds and enjoyed the views. Dogs not allowed due to nesting and breeding birds. About 10 houses were at the shore side.

A long, winding drive from Port Albert junction, some dusty terrains but worthwhile to land in this peaceful bird paradise to spend few hours. Appropriately it is located at the end of the road named 'Journey's End' :. It was a sunny afternoon and low tide when I visited. Sun was shining on the mud across the blue sea waters that made a beautiful, rare shiny reflection. Surrounded by a small community and well maintained domain where you can have a relaxed picnic meal on the concrete bench. Please note the toilets are located about 300 meters on the way and camping not allowed.

Lovely remote spot 12 kms of gravel road to get there but the road is well graded and easy to drive

Serene place to visit. Lost my cellphone there....but at least it is somewhere with beautiful scenery!

Lovely quiet beach. Good to dit under trees and watch the tide come in. Very friendly helpful locals.
