As we have a group of members with our Therapy dogs coming for a gathering or hosting an event. Parnell Cafe shows their support and provide one of the best services to make our day really smooth and fun. Thank you for their team which is so easy to communicate with. I was impressed by reasonable prices, and friendly staff. My meal was an omelete and it was the best I've tasted in a very long while. My friend had eggs Benedict and was equally impressed and pleased with her meal as well. Being a new import to Whanganui she was quite thrilled to find such a lovely place with great food and nice ambience with friendly staff. Thanks and we will definitely be back and with friends.
Thorough enjoyed food and coffee. My small quiche was slightly cold Not only after asking for it to be re-heated I received a whole new slice and very hot. That's great service.Food: 4/5
Lovely cafe with several different eating areas both inside and outside. We had really delicious bacon eggs Benedict. Bacon was absolutely . Coffee was also good and so was peppermint tea. Also had a very delectable cake slice. Parking: Private spacious car park behind cafe.
Not very wheelchair friendly. Steep slope to get in and out of through the door which wanted to shut quickly and firmly. Thankfully a customer came to my rescue and held the door open. Otherwise, food and coffee was great. Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible.
good covered outdoor and indoor spaces. with an uncovered outside space as well. Warm atmosphere. Popular, was quite busy while I was there- & was approx 2pm. coffee good and bacon butty devine. portion sizes I saw come out to others looked of a good size and not overly expensive 5⁴Food: 4/5

An ok cafe and garden arts centre near the top of Victoria Ave. We had breakfast this morning before checking out of a nearby hotel. The coffee was strong and served quickly. Our meals were ok but nothing special. I had a three-egg omelette with three fillings ham, cheese, tomato. Substantial but the filling ingredients weren’t overly tasty. My partner enjoyed his Belgian waffles with banana, bacon, maple syrup and cream. A nice garden-style atmosphere and reasonable service.
Nice staff and menu options. Place isn't super high dining if you are looking for a place like this. Is a more family orientated place but very nice. Theres a few sparrows flying around but coffee is excellent.
