The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Lots of outdoor space for kids a trampoline and pool! The reception was good, love that milk was given in a reusable bottle. The price was reasonable. .. by no means luxury but very homely and peaceful. Great value for the price.
Great place to stay. Matt the owner is very pleasant and can't do enough for you. I had a problem with the TV. He came immediately and spent some time fixing it, always with a smile on his face. Although there are a number of Motels in Dargaville his is always full. It pays to book early. Would definitely come back.
We got there very late but the room was all ready for us. Nice and simple room but very very clean with all the essentials you ever needed for a short stay. I highly recommend them, even their friendly smile and service. They make you feel that you are TOP PRIORITY !!!
Position is good. A little tired in terms of decor, that's to be expected given its age. However it was warm this being winter and spotlessly clean! A very warm welcome on arrival, thanks Matt and Cara, we enjoyed our little stay in Dargaville
My 3 children and i stayed for 2nights during easter weekend of this year. We arrived a couple hours early as we travelled from auckland. I had asked the owners if we could check in early, they did not heisitate to say yes and catered to our need of the room from the get go. Their hospitality and customer service was flawless! Me and my children had such an amazing stay here, it is child friendly, my children had access to a outdoor playing area and pool. Its also very dog friendly which is awesome. Unlimited wifi, all sky channels, what more can you ask for. Our room was clean warm and perfect. After the 1st night stay we were out most of the day only to come back to and see that they cleaned up our mess we made in our room. Made our beds, fresh towels etc. My sleep in my bed was heaven! My brother and his family also had a room and we saw nothing but a hard working and friendly family that provided a 5 star service. Thank you to the people that runs the place for the bestest quality service. It was worth every dollar we paid and more. Lovely to see. My family and i will be back to stay again for sure!!!
Stayed here twice recently, four nights then two. both times very happy with location, facilities and pricing. Is great quality accommodation in quiet location that's close to town centre. Would not hesitate to book here again. Thank you
The motel is very clean and comfortable, my wife and I stayed here during the covid lockdown for almost a month, and we popped back in a few days ago. The owners Don and Sue are two of the loveliest people we have come across in our world travels. I would highly urge anyone traveling through dargaville to stay here.Rooms: 5/5
The most amazing experience I've had staying at a motel, the owner of the place was terrific, he looked after us throughout our stay, the place was clean and compact and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Excellent value for the price we paid. would definately come back
Stayed here just a couple of days ago for 4 days. We booked the 2 bedroom unit. Definitely worth it. Highlights were BIG as TV, with all SKY channels ie movies & sports, free WIFI - excellent connection, free laundry and dryer, clean unit, cosy rooms, moccona coffee, chai tea, milk provide in glass bottles - its those small things that make this place. The buildings is not the latest style, but as mentioned, the amendities provided more then make up for this. And finally, very lovely host. Thank you - if ever in this area again, we will be back. :-
