It was such a wonderful homely experience for us during our stay at Parkside Boutique Lodge. The setting is so serene, property is clean, homely with a swimming pool and beautiful gardens. Our hostess Jean is so pleasant and warm and treated us like her own. Highly recommend to stay here as we hope and wish to return.
This is the best BnB in NZ! Location was quiet and peaceful, the BnB was bright with wonderful personal touches, as well as beautiful, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with love, and best of all Jen was the loveliest host, giving us great recommendations and ensuring we felt right at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have an amazing BnB experience :
I had a great stay here while I was in Rotorua for a few days. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but you're still close to a lot of the major attractions. Jenny was a delightful host and the breakfast every morning was both fresh and generously portioned.
We stayed here for a few days as a first introduction to New Zealand, and it could not have been more perfect. The location is close to beautiful nature and activities and scenic in its own right, but far enough away from the hot springs so as to avoid some of the more powerful smells. Our host, Jenny, was incredibly kind and willing to tailor our homemade breakfasts to our needs each day. I cannot recommend this place enough.
We stayed at this lodge twice during our four-month trip through New Zealand and were completely satisfied both times. The accommodation is very clean, tastefully furnished, and offers, in addition to the lovely rooms, a spacious lounge area. This is where breakfast is served, but it can also be used throughout the day to relax. The lodge is located in a quiet residential area – perfect for unwinding. The pool was available during both of our stays and was very well maintained. Breakfast was another highlight: lovingly prepared with fresh fruit salad, toast, jam, cold cuts, eggs, cheese, and muesli — everything you could wish for. We would happily stay here again and can highly recommend this accommodation without hesitation!
