Our first stay was in 2018 and we were so happy to be able to book rooms at Paradise for this 2022 trip. Everything about Paradise is great. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Air conditioning worked very well. The pool, sundeck and grounds were meticulously maintained. And the staff were fabulous. Diana, Lukas, Sotiris, Yannis were all so kind, welcoming and friendly. It's a 2~3min walk to a most fantastic beach. The beach is lined were great restaurants, snack bars and a few little grocery stores. It's easy to walk to the main city but the bus is only 1.60Euro and runs every 15~20 mins. It was all fabulous. We are already talking about going back!!
I first went to Ios in 1971 when there were only two hotels and no roads. Paradise didn't exist at that time but I knew the building. I slept on the beach and in caves. When I returned in the 90s, my ex and I just happened to book at the Paradise and fell in love with it all over again, along with the whole island. I went a few years later with a girlfriend and stayed at the Paradise again. If I ever get to go again, I would not consider going anywhere else. The owners are beyond amazing and we still remain friends. Ios is the most magical place on earth for me.
