We had a very helpful librarian who found the Asterisk books I was looking for. The parking is convenient and the Novella café next door has great lunch offerings.

It’s a beautiful 50km drive from Wellington. Engaging place for toddlers, spacious and well connected to cafes and mall nearby. Highly recommended for children and adults if you’re around.
Great library! Good layout with places to read indoors and outdoors with a nice cafe attached. Also, it’s air conditioned! Great selection of books overall; I was specifically looking for architecture and design books, and was pleasantly surprised by the selection.
