A great place to relax unwind walk and dive into the local quisene I can't belive how good the burgers were and mixed pulled pork and shrimp pizza was.-and the ultra friendly staff... Go there test it -its 7 minutes from paparoa boat ramp and met Sam hunt at the local dairy mean trip big smiley face.
Love our local. Staff treat us like family and we know what we're going to get. Food is always lovely and well portioned. Would like to see the menu change from time to time with creative a license from the staff.
Went for dinner. Lovely friendly staff. The food was delicious however the wait between ordering and the food coming out was a little long. I would definitely visit again if passing through Paparoa.

Lovely friendly service, food was great and good selection as opposed to the usual pub grub. Sampled the local wine also which is delicious and the garden bar was a nice place to sit and relax.

For a country pub, this place does a good burger. Look it isn't the cheapest but it a veritable oasis on the road to dargaville
The steak & mushroom pie, chicken & leak pie beautiful, flavoursome full of creamy sauces light pastry. Very generous serving accompanied with either handcut potato or kumara chips topped with gravy & sour cream. Definitely worth the visit.
Loved this place! Stayed here for a few nights when I was in the area. Narissa is an absolute diamond and goes above and beyond. The staff are all mega friendly and the food is fantastic and very well priced. Brilliant vibe about the place as a whole will definitely be staying here when I'm in the area again! Thank you folks
