Definitely worth a visit if you are driving past, however unless you are geology inclined we otherwise wouldn't recommend making a special trip there. The boulders are cool and it's a very short walk, but having seen them we wouldn't have felt we missed out in not seeing them.
Easy access to the beach if you can use a staircase !nThe Moeraki Boulders appear to be slowly sinking into the beach. Pictures from the past show the Boulders to be more prominent .
