The staff was cheery and friendly.nThere is a saying don't judge the book by its cover but I think food places should take care of the overall cleanness. It would be assuring if people can see the kitchen and the hygiene rating is shown in the area people can see. I love Chinese takeaway food but not this time.
Best $7 I have ever spent on a burger, by far one of the best I have ever had! Real tomatoes and lettuce and super fresh buns the size of the piece of chicken was unbelievable in size and deliciousness fried to perfection.nChips were lovely and everything tasted clean, the right amount of salt..I really can not fault this place I can't wait to go back for another chicken burger - I've never bragged so much but it's a must try

Great food and service. Fish and chips remained crunchy even after some time. It's not soaking in oil. I could even enjoy the crunchy batter on its own as a snack. Big portions and good fish-to-batter ratio thin and crispy batter.nIn our latest visit we had roast duck with rice. It comes with a side of vegetables. Best duck I've had. Better than the ones I've had while living in Macau and Hong Kong and those were quite good. They don't serve it with plum sauce but it seems that the meat has been marinated or basted with plum sauce. Good price, too, at 17NZD.
Taste like home. It has the South East Asian zi char taste. Comfort food at Omaru
