Story

Our story started eleven years ago when I [Louise, the mother] informed the family that I had found my dog. My husband replied with "that's nice dear, we will get one in a few years time". I advised him that I was picking the puppy up the following day.

When Nem arrived, all of our lives changed. Nem was an adorable Tibetian Spaniel, he had monk-like qualities and was loved by everyone - just as he expected to be. Nem's name was an abbreviation for Nyema which translates to Sun in Tibetian. He lived up to his name as he was a ray of sunshine and brought a lot of joy to our lives.

Nem was the embodiment of a Pampered Pooch. He was served food on a crystal plate and as he got older (and because he had short little legs) small boxes were strategically placed so he could get up onto the bed and sofa. He was often seen being carried home from walks. He loved being cuddled.

Nem had sensitive skin but we never found a product that really healed and soothed his skin. As family we decided to create some products that could be used by all Pampered Pooches, products that we could confidently use on our old darling Nem knowing that they would nurture and enhance his well being. Sadly just as we were getting started with this project, our little old Nem passed away after two days of illness.

Nem is the inspiration for our business and our logo is a stylised likeness. Never was a dog more loved or pampered.


About Us 1Today

We still have another Tibetian Spaniel called Simmy, she was the perfect buddy for Nem, she is sassy and independent. Together they were quite the team. Sarah, our daughter (who formulates the products) has two dogs - Lilly, a caramel Ladradoodle who is both flirty and wise (if that is possible) and Poppie, a sweet Cocker Spaniel who joined our family after her first owner passed away. We also have Geoffery, our giant grey fluffy moggie who is Simmy's best mate.

When they all get together they are a formidable pack and chaos reigns. To us our dogs are more than pets, they are a cherished part of the family and we pamper them accordingly.


Our Business Inspiration

Our first thoughts were to help our Nem and to soothe his sensitive skin. This evolved into a whole range of products formulated with the optimal balance of natural and functional ingredients, giving you the confidence that using our products you will be enhancing the health and well being of your dog.


Our Business Purpose

Our business purpose is to enable people to nurture and pamper their dogs. We achieve this by providing the highest quality product. All the products are made by us in New Zealand from quality ingredients maintaining an optimal balance between natural and functional ingredients.

We also endeavour to provide excellent customer service by focusing on you ,the customer and your specific needs. We value your feedback in all areas of service and product development.


Product Development

Our products are formulated by our daughter Sarah who has a MSc and several years experience working in Product Development within the food and personal care/ cosmetics industries.


Paying It Forward

We also believe in paying it forward by donating 10% of our profits to charities to help those dogs who are not fortunate to be part of a loving home.
