Fantastic local camp, offering the safety and security of only one group staying at a time. If you are after a venue foryour school, youth group, church group, sports group or family reunion then we are the place to stay!
Offering accommodation and activities for your group of between 30 and 140 people. We can provide fully catered meals, or you can use our large kitchen with full facilities to make your own meals for your group. We are well known for our excellent quality meals, which is not your usual camp tucker!

Our Facilities:
Accommodation - we have sleeping facilities for up to 140 people in bunk style cabins. We also have a number of grassy areas where you can provide your own tents and pitch these to add more of a camping element for your group.
Break out areas - on our property we have a number of areas for groups to use - Nikau Lodge has a large lounge, also with TV and video equipment. We have our chapel, Rec Hall, dinning room and numerous outdoor areas
Showers & toilet blocks - we have two bathroom blocks, one at each end of the camp. Both contain male and female facilities with hot water.
We have 2 playing fields which are suitable for all outdoor games, we have equipment for cricket, touch, soccer, T-ball and volleyball. These fields are also ideal for tents to be pitched if you want to add a tenting experience to your stay.
Pool - we have a large swimming pool which is open from late October until the end of April.
Water Slide - 90 meter canvas waterslide, with inflated sides. Water is pumped to the top of the slide for riders to come down the incline on mats.
Orienteering - explore some of the native surroundings as you follow our established course.
Confidence course - this is a low (ground level) course that has been designed to be both exciting and challenging, team work and leadership skills will be developed using this.
Archery - we also have equipment which can be included into your programme.
ROPES COURSES
We are well known for our High and Low ropes courses. The courses are run by an experienced instructor and all who participate find it to be a very rewarding and satisfying experience. Safety harnesses and helmets are supplied to all who participate.
The Low course is suitable from 8 years to Intermediate. There are 14 challenging elements.
The High course is suitable for all those over Intermediate age, there are 16 challenging elements with a recently added bailey bridge and steel rope ladder.
