A perfect place to have our last dinner in Positano! While there weren’t coastal views, the vibe of the restaurant was still pretty nice and gave a different feel altogether in a calm and relaxing way. We weren’t having any luck getting reservations online, but we’re able to get a table through our hotel’s front desk. The service throughout was great as we were regularly tended to. The suggestions by the waiter were also spot on. Our Eggplant Parmigiana starter was delicious, with the crunchy topper adding a perfect mix of texture. The two pastas we shared were great and very flavorful. The lobster dish would’ve been large enough on its own as it was more then generous plate. I also really appreciate the restaurant providing us a complimentary dessert for our celebratory occasion as well. All three types of chocolate were very decadent and rich, but equally tasty. Definitely a great option for a nice dinner in the area and one that I would love to repeat.
The restaurant is in a very nice garden. We ate there in July and it was hot and only few fans were trying to cool the air but with no luck. I was sweating like hell while eating and tried all the time to make some air with a piece of paper. For such a luxurious and expensive place I honestly was expecting to have a better experience. The food was good. One of the good things was that we did not have to pay for the water. Most of the restaurants gove you filtered water and ask money for it. I decided to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant and it was a great idea. We arrived too early and a very nice and friendly Lady, employee of the restaurant, politely invited us to wait on the couch at the reception. The food, drinks and the restaurant itself is excellent. But the atmosphere was created by the restaurant staff. And for that, thank you all very much. Especially the waiter Sebastian and the lady manager. At the end of the evening, a pleasant surprise awaited me - a dessert with congratulations.Thank you guys you made my birthday great. We plan to visit you again!
Great vibe. Cute lemon trees. Good location in Positano. Great seafood. Fresh food. Service very quick. Did not charge for water. 5$ charge for bread. Included amuse bouche; and a complimentary dessert for everyone. 3 meals and dessert for 118 Euros. Best food we have had in Italy and we have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants. Service was great from friendly waiters. Definitely reccomend!
The service was top notch, my husband and I were well attended to and the servers and restaurant went the extra mile my offering us complimentary bread & dessert platers. We ordered the local whole fish of the day and it was incredible, melt in your mouth and so fresh! The side dishes that came with the fish were equally as star worthy, some of the best sautéed spinach I’ve had. The tartar was unique, very tasty and amazing. Octopus is on the smaller portion size but very good. We sat in the garden on an October night. Atmosphere was charming, busy yet quiet and well lit and romantic. The staff provide blankets to guests on cool evenings which was a nice touch.
My family and I needed a last-minute dinner reservation in Positano and Palazzo was able to kindly and quickly accommodate our group of 8. We would walk by the restaurant daily and noticed the beautiful landscaping and design and thought it would be too stuffy for us. Unexpectedly, the staff and service was so exceptional and they made us feel at home. All the food and beverage was impeccable- the chef’s food was so delicious, fresh and had the best ingredients. Our favorite were the lobster pasta, fresh fish which they debone for you and lobster. We had the best servers, Marco and Sebastiano! They were so attentive, kind, funny and hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I will always remember our family dinner at the Palazzo. Grazie!
We had a very tasty dinner here the other day. The taste was immaculate the service was great and the chefs sent many complimentary tastes such as desserts and starters.Food: 5/5
I tried several places in Positano and they were all tourist traps. Overpriced food with terrible taste and quality. The last day I went to Al Palazzo for drinks and the good looking place and decided to order two main courses. They blew my taste buds away! Possibly the best pasta I've had in Italy out of 30+ restaurants I've visited in Rome and the Amalfi Coast. This place had a Michelin star in 2019. The prices are very similar to other tourist traps all over Positano. The drinks are expensive as they have a great selection of wines and drinks. I spent 95 euros for two people. Two main dishes and two drinks. Don't let the bad reviews fool you, just go and try it!
This restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Positano. The dishes are prepared with lots of flavour and with much attention to presentation. The tables outside are surrounded with many orange trees and other beautiful plants. It is located in the middle of Politani but it makes you feel like you are closed off of the noisy centre. Great service, great food. Perfect for couples or groups. Mind the price because this experience does not come cheap. Expect around €100 per person. For me this was totally worth the price. If I ever visit Positano again, I will surely come back to this place!
A great restaurant in the middle of the walking paths of Positano, attached to a hotel. Higher in price, but we had the perfect lunch in the garden restaurant. Service was excellent and they made excellent recommendations. The gnocchi with prawns was very good, and the appetizer of smoked swordfish and burrata was excellent. Would highly recommend for a quieter lunch and a great dining experience.
