Ive been a customer , for 8 years as I have experience few of my co Filipinos working here they're rude . One of the staff she's a filipino and she never give a smile, everytime she assist me. She didn't know how to say please when she's asking my ID for buying a tabaco for my friend and she didn't know how to smile to a customer. In short she think she's the owner that she think she's the powerful person . Being nice and kind is easy. But for me this person she don't have this kindness.
Main income in Taupo is tourism not sure they know it and this Pak'nSave doesn't have a car park where you could park a motorhome. We did 3 rounds around car park trying to find a double car park a lady with the car got it 5 seconds before us. At the end we parked far as possible from the entry. Been in the shop for 21 minutes and guess what, got one man parked we saw him leaving when we walked to the van his UTE just 1/4 on the car park and the rest on the grass. There were at least 23 free car parks, but he needed to be close to us under the baking sun. NO COMMENT!!
Busy supermarket, good product range & cheap prices. They had an excellent range of warm - ready to eat meals for around $7 - $9 which is great if you're in a campervan or on a budget. Meals like Spaghetti Bolognese, roast chicken & potatoes n gravy & veggies etc...
Large store a lot of specials, especially the vegetable department, overall the products at this store is cheaper than the Siuth Auckland branches really enjoyed shopping here. Good one Taupo
Easy to find what I wanted to buy. Shelves outlying well filled. Some specials , were no longer available. But essentials were.
