PAK'nSAVE

This is our favourite supermarket. It is spacious, it has good prices and friendly staff. The supermarket is conveniently located and has a large carpark. My wife and I have repeatedly be pleasantly surprised by friendly interactions with the staff packing shelves and working at the till. Haven't had a negative experience yet.

Normally do our shop here when we're at the bach. It's a big store and is well stocked with everything you need. Very very busy always lots of people plenty of carparking and good produce inside. Place is tidy considering how busy it gets. Trolleys are good condition, give or take afew. Is as expected

Great product range, cheap prices & excellent customer service.

This place is huge. Not a store I'd pop down to just to buy a loaf of bread but if it's the regular grocery shop then this is the place to go. The challenge would be to take a list and only buy what's on it. Good luck with that.

Great prices and availability, managed to pick up everything we needed. The staff were helpful when we needed help finding an item.

It was ok to shop here but they don't have shop n go scanners to scan your groceries,don't have scales to weigh and price your food,don't have bulk food where you can get your own how much you want It is not like napier city PaknSave I would rather use shop n go scanners then u can see how much money you are spending

Had heard stories that to avoid this place, total opposite. Plenty of space to move in the aisles and good range of fruit, vege,meat and your other needs.Service was quick and efficient, parking lot was a bit small so could be a challenge during peak times.

After shopping in the Wairau Rd. branch 3 weeks earlier and was super impressed we went to the Whangarei Branch today. What a contrast! The seafood department smelt absolutely gross, so many products that we regularly buy were missing, and the pricing structure appeared to be not the same in Whangarei compared to the Auckland branch, huge waits at checkout etc. Not a great shopping experience at all.

Good place to get groceries but they lack interaction with people they are always busy

Just spoke with Grant Bennett, Store Manager, Whangarei PAK’nSAVE. He sounds like a really nice guy and offered to help to bring more products to the Whangarei store. He also is trying to find out why PAK’nSAVE Westgate is selling Pork Belly for $9.99 a kilo and we are paying $21.99. Hope he keeps his promises.
