Plenty of car parking for this massive supermarket! Very confusing layout but well stocked shelves. Staff are not that friendly when you ask a question. Self service staff hover over you when your scanning items making you feel like you're going to steal then don't help when something goes wrong until you tell them isn't the light on top of the machine meant to prompt them? Retrain your staff!
Lamb chops were rancid 1 day after purchase. Whole fridge smelt bad. Where was the meat sitting before it went on the shelf??
Good shopping experience. Plenty of stock and shelves full. Annoying to find Pam's 700gm cherries is cheaper at New World by $4! PnS $18.99 NW $14.99.
Cheap products, need to sort their ordering of stock out and research what is most popular. Wakachangi Chips in Salt and Vinegar and the most sought after, but this store never ever has them, isnt it logical to stock up on that flavour? They dont seem to sell certain items that other shops sell. Their produce isnt great, you often see fruit flies buzzing around and find items that are rotten. Stock can be well out of date so we always check the dates too. The meat is mehhh. We also hate that the deli is gone. Their prepackaged ham etc is not great and it uses so much more packaging. Some days you go in and youre constantly dodging staff packing shelves and/or moving ladders out of the way. Theres one guy who does checkout and he is insanely slow. He sanitizes his hands several times while doing one customers shopping, he can also be extremely rude. Last but not least, their public toilet is foul. Id rather go behind a bush than go in there, it absolutely reaks. We shop there regularly purely for the prices, most staff are lovely and its a nice spacious shop. The areas of concern aren't big enough to make us avoid it but all are frustrating. Compared to New World its like going to a $2 shop but the pricing is often way cheaper. Despite my complaints i would recommend this store, especially those who dont have excess money, you can get some great deals.
Plenty of parking. Went to look for readymade meals, bought macaroni cheese in foil dish, was plentiful and very reasonably priced. Tasted good and had leftovers for lunch.
I came on a Sunday so it did mean a lot of shelves were empty. Also experienced some pretty awful customer service at the checkout with the cashier being rude because I asked for a paper bag and then made fun of a bracelet I was wearing.
The worst pak save. You can not find what you want every time you go there they change the places of the stuff. Also the staff that works at the door when they close he wears glasses is really disappointed. He closed the shop at 9:40pm. If you go in he will say we are closed while he is looking at his phone. Never going back. I will go to Petone paknsave instead better and cheaper.
The staff are very nice and helpful and kind as well and the birds I use to than now they have guns in the Roof to shot but some always get throu, to the Store, The Products are good,
Like other Pak n save.. Nothing out of place.. Bit pricy than other pak n save.. Dont go after 6pm as most of items need re-stocking.. Needed more carft beers single can ones..
Fruit and veges are a good price. Usually well stocked and easy to find things. Staff don't bother me, and very helpful on self service checkout
