It was huge, with the widest selection i have seen in NZ. The varieties of the chocolates was staggering, which i don't see in many other supermarkets like Four Squares of Countdown. Wide walking spaces and sufficient check-out counters, which was a welcome sight.
Super big and awesome prices. The only issue I have is that for some reason, there is no reception with my phone inside. So if you need to check your bank or check your texts, you can't while inside Pak N Save. Other than the shop is great
Well stocked. Nice spacing in aisles. Plenty of trolleys and baskets to use. Self serve is well set up. Friendly staff. Overall good experience
It was a busy day and there were no trolleys available, even though I waited for one more than 10 minutes. Did my whole shopping carrying a heavy basket and when I went to pay for my groceries, the cashier insisted that I should buy bags as, according to her, I was not “allowed” to use the trolley she had. When I saw some trolleys arriving, I asked her if someone could get me one and I explained to her that I have spina bifida + other back problems. When checking with the manager, the manager was extremely rude and said that I should buy bags and that they would not get me a trolley, as they were going to keep the trolleys that arrived to the cashiers only. When I asked the manager if they could please give me some free bags then, very ironically she said “we don’t do free bags and the trolley needs to stay”. Even the costumer next me shouted at the lady asking her to help me out. “But she’s not listening aye?” “Even though your telling her about your health issues”. Anyway, I decided to take the trolley and I did it. Feeling quite embarrassed for the whole situation. Even though I told both employees that I was already in a lot of pain for having to carry a heavy basket around the supermarket and I wouldn’t be able to carry my groceries to the car park. And guess what? As soon as I entered my car, and went to check my receipt- they charged me the wrong price for the mandarins 10’99 a kilo when it was 5,69. I had to walk all the way down, because I would not let them steal from me after the whole situation. SHAME ON YOU PAKNSAVE RICCARTON!!!
Perhaps the only PaS I'll ever give a 5 star rating too. The staff seem a lot more civilised and satisfied than their peers at other stores. The deli has an excellent hot food section and I highly recommend their chicky and chips. They also have quite a good butchery and bakery.

Good range of grocery products. Located inside Westfield Mall. A few different checkout systems including self scanning checkout. Busy supermarket. I would say one of the busiest.
Good for watching rugby and cheap but some times little to much
Was good for us for a fast shopping during our travel.
I would usually give more stars but I recently bought Pam's fresh fettuccine and the next day I opened it to find mould! Apparently it expires next month too.
