Story

Hamish and Ally Bell are the local operators of PAK’nSAVE Hawera. Purchasing the store in December 2014 was a dream come true after an extensive 21 year career with Foodstuffs.

Hamish having started at PAK’nSAVE as a young man pushing trolleys after school; it didn’t long to catch the grocery bug. From PNS Glen Innes to NW Milford, PNS Kaitaia, PNS Whakatane and PNS Wairau Road, Hamish and Ally are incredibly proud to call Hawera home.

We are continually striving to improve your shopping experience here at Hawera and we look forward to meeting you in store soon.

Disgraceful customer service by TANYIA . Very rude and ignorant for no reason . Otherwise it's nice place for shopping but a customer shouldn't uncomfortable at checkouts . Please take in consideration and provide further training . Time and date could be provided for camera views if required. Very disappointing ..
Almost have everything you need. Don't have shopping baskets anymore. Small or Large trolley's tho. Self service and serviced checkouts. Lotto service. BNZ ATM in store.
I went to Hawera to visit my sister and when finished I went over to get a lotto from the loveliest lady KAREN who was so helpful and knew what she was doing , she was so friendly and was just so refreshing … Thank you Karen you are an asset to Pak n Save Hawera
Staff is disgusting, I purchase grocers and there was one item that was in a bad state I took back to them and they didn’t even look into the problem. And very rude staff
Big car park good selection and service and just off the main shopping traffic to make it easy access
The staff are very friendly, I recently visited and had a quick exchange with one of the online team who was helpful and kind enough to show me exactly where the item I was looking for was, despite seeming very busy herself. She wished me a great rest of my day before proceeding on with her job. Excellent customer service. :
I like going to Paknsav They are very aware of the current times. & have lots of specials to help people make affordable meals.
Easy access, wheelchair friendly with lots of space an constant fresh stock. Great fresh food an veges. Good savings on most items, great specials. Helpful friendly staff. Good self checkout with lots of bays. Close to town center an skate park.
Have purchased online before all items were provided or substituted which was fine with me. Online team were helpful in packing my large order into a trolley rather than into locker.
Pak n save is my go to place when it comes to shopping. Hawera Pak n save has a good parking area
