Prompt service! I had an emergency appointment and the staff were fantastic. Please remember that the health infrastructure in NZ is under great strain at the moment. I know that there are long waits I waited 10 months for hernia surgery in Palmerston North lol but the employees, from Reception through to Nurses and Doctors was wonderful!
Had to wait well over a year before they opened to new patients. By that time I had several problems but as they will only deal with one at each appointment, and it takes up to two months to get another my list keeps getting longer! They care more about making money off thier patients than the patients wellfare!!!!!!!
I finally managed to get appt and dr nelson was excellent he told me what i needed to know appt my medication wtg time was a little to long though
Ripping us off. Pahiatua medical $45 doc $27 nurse. Waihi medical $15 doc $0 nurse. There's obviously no need for the excess charge to the members of this small community. I just can't get the treatment I need from the nurses because I simply cannot afford it right now. Customer service great from the nurses and reception.
Save yourself the embarrassment and find somewhere else. The doctors are good, the reception and administration were rude and shambolic.I watched them talk down to several of their elderly patients and wrongly accuse another. Disgraceful.
