Very nice playground with lots of interesting equipment for the kids to try. You see this playground just as you enter Paeroa from SH2, there is a convenient car park and it’s just a 30 sec drive from the L&P Cafe nice fish and chips. The playground itself is quite big, the section closest to the car park is for smaller kids and the equipment looks fairly new. There is a rock climbing statue and the playground for bigger kids has lots of cool climbs, slides and balancing steps. This playground is also next to Paeroa skate park, you can sink a few hours into this place if you really tried. Worth a quick stop if you’re travelling with kids!
The shady band rotunda is a great place for lunch on a sunny day. Nice playground too.
Kids love playing here it's just a shame people keep taking there dogs for walks there as one went my daughter now sh freaks out every time people bring dogs. It's ma kids park should be no dog
Been here a few times over the years for bike trails and stayed here enjoying the vintage look & friendly locals. its the best place to stop when passing thru and kids need to stretch before heading out. It placed just before the township. Toilets are clean remember clean. Not up to date toilets that's filthy. Everything is well maintained as it should be as I remember 2yrs to 5yrs to the 1st trip here in 2017
