Very nice playground with lots of interesting equipment for the kids to try. You see this playground just as you enter Paeroa from SH2, there is a convenient car park and it’s just a 30 sec drive from the L&P Cafe nice fish and chips. The playground itself is quite big, the section closest to the car park is for smaller kids and the equipment looks fairly new. There is a rock climbing statue and the playground for bigger kids has lots of cool climbs, slides and balancing steps. This playground is also next to Paeroa skate park, you can sink a few hours into this place if you really tried. Worth a quick stop if you’re travelling with kids!
Great place to,stop off for a night ,Camper Caravan or Tent ..Toilets and the park to keep the Children Happy.
Beautiful park with a playground for the kids, lots of grass to lie down and have a picnic, and a scenic view of the mountains and the historic Paeroa Hotel just in front of it.
I absolutely loved it as a great area to relax and go for a picnic and it's a place for tourists to visit and for kids to play and it's also a great attraction of Paeroa right opposite Paeroa Hotel, and I give that place a 10 out of 10.
Great place for family picnics and BBQ - very clean and well looked after by the community. The only downfall is not enough carparks.
