Very nice playground with lots of interesting equipment for the kids to try. You see this playground just as you enter Paeroa from SH2, there is a convenient car park and it’s just a 30 sec drive from the L&P Cafe nice fish and chips. The playground itself is quite big, the section closest to the car park is for smaller kids and the equipment looks fairly new. There is a rock climbing statue and the playground for bigger kids has lots of cool climbs, slides and balancing steps. This playground is also next to Paeroa skate park, you can sink a few hours into this place if you really tried. Worth a quick stop if you’re travelling with kids!
This is a fabulous place for kids birthdays, lots yo do on the playground & good area for serving lunch. Even a double BBQ area. Safe, fenced in, lots of play equipment, seating. The band retunda is great for wet days too.
