Had a great experience staying for two nights at an unpowered site $20 per person. The campsite is spacious, well-maintained, and peaceful. Toilets and shower areas were very clean, with hot water available in the showers for 4 minutes—enough for a good rinse. The kitchen is well-equipped and convenient for meal prep. Overall, it's a great spot !
Stayed 2 nights powered with dog, nice grounds and large bays, had to clean BBQ before use. $40 a night + $10 for dog.nWas not quiet during the day and loud till 9.30pm both nights as next to dog bay there was a lodge on grounds and a school camp arrived.nKids running past having a great time. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing time in camp ask if any school camps are coming. Not much of a personal connection vibe with office.nTownship had a great bakery, good coffee and pottery shop
We had an unplanned 2 night stay here due to the crazy wild weather in Wellington rendering the ferries to be cancelled.nFrom the moment we drove through the Queen Elizabeth arch into the park we thought we were into something peaceful. We weren’t disappointed! Our van site was beautifully located in a private hedged setting with no one either side. Great sized site we were in a motorhome and close to the clean and functional facilities. With this being our first experience at a park in our motor home the bar has been set high! This is a gorgeous family friendly park located away from the hustle and bustle and right on the beach!nOh and you must visit Finn’s pub in the village for a superb lunch!
Nice campground. Visited in the off season so not too busy. Loved having the beach and park right there. Staff was friendly, facilities were clean, showers hot 4 min timer, $8 for wash and dry
Great location just up from the beach and a 5 min drive from the lovely little village.nThe site itself is generally quite old, it feels like an old school block from the 80’s!nBathrooms are cold, no mirrors above the sinks, dirty footprints in the shower.nIt was $30pn for a powered site which was hedged off from the next one. No free WIFI at all and CRAZY ridiculous rates to get some!nMy 100gb eSIM is cheaper than some of the rates!!nThere is also a sauna on site but pls note this is run by an external company and not the site and you can't just use it as you want you have to book a 'session' with them and only on certain days at certain times etc. kinda pointless really!
