Lovely winery. A flight of 4 wines that you can choose was $15, and the fee is waved if you buy any wine. Also some nice cheese / meat platter options. Plenty of space to sit inside and outside, beautiful views. You can reserve your spot online as well, but was not crowded when we were there. Less explanations about the wines compared to some of the other wine tasting we’ve been to, so if you want a more private feel of talking to the owners and getting to know about the wine, this might not be the best option for you.
We popped here for lunch while in the area. I was craving a cheese plate and you can't go wrong with a bunch of cheese, crackers and bread! The strawberries were so delectable and wish I had got more. Not my top picks wine-wise as I'm more of a sweet wine girl but was happy to try out what was on offer at this family-run vineyard. There was event on the property so we ate and tasted indoors but the event added to the atmosphere. I also bought a bottle of white wine for my friend for Christmas. It was a varietal that I had never come across and was sure my friend would love it.
This was the only place that had slots for wine tasting. We were pleasantly surprised by the very comfortable outdoor setting with a vineyard. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the various wines. We also had some pizzas. A truly enjoyable and relaxing experience.
Popped in to meet with family and friends. Only reason for the 3 stars is the location. Ordered $48 platter as a treat. What a rip off that was. Half a strawberry cut into 4 peices, 4 slices salami, a few very small cuts of cheese. We couldnt believe they charge that price for such a pitiful platter worst platter Ive ever seen. No water was offered by staff. The toilet was messy. My family live in Wanaka and we wont be going back. Shame as nice location on a warm day. Eat before you go!
Beautiful setting to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious pizza. Lovely, friendly staff.
