Had lunch here today. The place was busy and the atmosphere is lovely, unfortunately the seafood chowder I ordered because there was good review in the past about it was disappointing. I was expecting a good selection of good seafood, chunks of fish, mussels, squids, prawns, maybe fresh scallops if you’re lucky but it wasn’t to be. I’m pretty sure I counted 2 tiny mussels in the whole bowl.nIt’s such a big bowl of chowder but it’s not always about the quantity.nMy friend ordered a salmon bagel and she liked it. Next time I might order straight from the cabinet. Good customer service though.
Beautiful place. Plenty of parking space. I ordered the Banana Bread French Toast and Almond milk Hot Chocolate. My Mum ordered Eggs Benedict and Americano. My sister ordered the regular kiwi type breakfast with coconut milk hot chocolate.nPresentation of the food was beautiful. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The Banana Bread French Toast was pretty much just a mini Banana Loaf decorated with sauce, fruits and crumble. It wasn't even sliced. The almond milk hot chocolate I ordered tasted like regular milk was used so I didn't finish it. When the waitress had brought mine and my sister's coconut milk hot chocolate to us, she mentioned the coconut but with mine, she states it was a regular hot chocolate until I queried it and she confirmed it was almond. So, I'm now wondering if my suspicions was correct.nMy sister's scrambled eggs tasted oily.nMum's Eggs Benedict was cooked through, so, no runny eggs and the hollandaise sauce was not nice either.nOn top of that the table was quite sticky.nI gave it a 3 star because it really is a nice place to visit, food presentation was beautiful, and the staff provided great customer service. Just need to improve on the meals and cleanliness.
Garden centre with joyfull art and all sorts of great desirable things to buy. I found some amazing funny greeting cards but other bought a shael, a few clay birds for in the garden, a wooly hat and even some gorgeous plants.nOh and the food was delicious, famous for their chowder and good coffee. Great place to meet up
Lovely atmosphere, great food. I didn't like their coffee it was very bitter tasting. The lovely young lady made a couple more for me to try and gave me a refund, I didn't even ask. I value awesome customer service and will definitely be back.
Beautiful space with an absolutely delicious cafe, their food cabinet honestly always look so beautiful and has such an awesome selection of goodies that caters to most dietary needs, so many cool things to see from homewares to plants to water features, cool outdoor playground for the kids with a pond, I often head down here for an hour grab a cuppa and write on nice sunny days, birds are always chirping
