Beautiful place. Plenty of parking space. I ordered the Banana Bread French Toast and Almond milk Hot Chocolate. My Mum ordered Eggs Benedict and Americano. My sister ordered the regular kiwi type breakfast with coconut milk hot chocolate.nPresentation of the food was beautiful. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The Banana Bread French Toast was pretty much just a mini Banana Loaf decorated with sauce, fruits and crumble. It wasn't even sliced. The almond milk hot chocolate I ordered tasted like regular milk was used so I didn't finish it. When the waitress had brought mine and my sister's coconut milk hot chocolate to us, she mentioned the coconut but with mine, she states it was a regular hot chocolate until I queried it and she confirmed it was almond. So, I'm now wondering if my suspicions was correct.nMy sister's scrambled eggs tasted oily.nMum's Eggs Benedict was cooked through, so, no runny eggs and the hollandaise sauce was not nice either.nOn top of that the table was quite sticky.nI gave it a 3 star because it really is a nice place to visit, food presentation was beautiful, and the staff provided great customer service. Just need to improve on the meals and cleanliness.
Beautiful space with an absolutely delicious cafe, their food cabinet honestly always look so beautiful and has such an awesome selection of goodies that caters to most dietary needs, so many cool things to see from homewares to plants to water features, cool outdoor playground for the kids with a pond, I often head down here for an hour grab a cuppa and write on nice sunny days, birds are always chirping
Give these totally disinterested, care-less bunch of girls a very wide berth. Ordered standard food items, noticed those around us, who had ordered after, receiving their orders well ahesd of ours, waited over 45 minutes for French toast, and eggs bene, acceptable if the café was busy but nowhere near capacity.nI would neither recommend or return to what was once a lovely little destination Cafe.
Always enjoy our visit. Lovely environment and great food. However, we were disappointed today, that in 27 degree heat, at 2.30 pm all windows and all but one door to the cafe were closed leaving us to sweat and “suffocate” Surely, at least the window next to us could have remained open until we left.
The cafe has a good variety of food and drinks to suit all dietary requirements and choices. The cabinet food is presented very nicely and there is also a good menu. The options of seating arrangements has many choices and the customer service is extremely good. The cost overall is reasonable.
