Booked on line for a service, numerous days available around the date I needed traveling restrictions, got confirmation of the date, booked a few other things around the day, then I get an email telling me they’re too busy and have to move the date. You’d think a professional business would be able to have their website up to date, but then it is Toyota, lucky they sell good cars, because if their business relied on service and pricing, they’d go broke.
This is it. I give honest reviews. If you are going to buy from a dealership go to this one and ask for David Woolley. From start to finish this man was incredibly accommodating and helpful. No question was too annoying or difficult not that he let on anyway! His customer service was amazing and he went over and above to help me get the car I wanted by helping to sell my older car so I was able to have my dream car. The Lord bless you Dave! Thank you for good memories in my car buying & selling experience, even putting a pretty bow on it when it's not a brand new car, that made it just so special!
Service and parts department operate like independent entities and blame each other for mistakes. Have had three seperate visits for different reasons and have experienced passive-aggressive, rude staff every time. No doubt there are good people here, but the service & parts departments are like pigs at the trough, dining out on the reputation of great vehicles and behave like people who know they have a captive market that they don’t need to impress. Look for alternatives that won’t void your warranty.
Driving into Cairns a warning light came on in my Prado, “Fuel Filter Maintenance Required”. Provided my details over the phone three times to Pacific Toyota before I eventually got a call back and was told no service available for three weeks. Had the problem sorted the next day in 30 minutes when I drove to John Cole Toyota in Innisfail.
Just had my Toyota Yaris cross Hybrid serviced by Pacific Toyota. Took exactly as long as quoted, very pleasant surroundings at dealership. Just a pity its so hard to get new car, as Pacific Toyota would be my dealer of choice in NQ. Well done guys ,, excellent customer service.
We bought our new Fortuner from Pacific Toyota Cairns, our salesman was Jack who was fantastic from start to finish. Pacific Toyota looked after us in terms of pricing so thanks for looking after locals, would have given 5 stars but the wheel alignment was way out on our Fortuner on delivery day. Feel like that should have definitely been picked up pre delivery and not handed over to us in that way, was fixed promptly the next week.
This was one of the best services from Toyota. Watching the video health check was awesome, to see and understand what the mechanic was talking about the good and bad on my car. Thank you and great idea.
Paul in servicing is an absolute legend. I’m not one for reviews, and I’ve only used Pacific Toyota servicing a few times, but he has gone above and beyond every time. He remembers every person and their car months after their last visit. In my Uber in a Toyota to collect my car after service, my Uber driver even mentioned what a fantastic guy he is, remembering him from being at Smithfield. A fabulous chat, kind and knowledgeable advice, takes the time to liaise with parts for me, and a friendly face. Paul took the time today after my service to explain to me that he is moving to a different role at Toyota and I may not see him next time I come in. I really appreciated the personal service, thoughtfulness and time he took, and will miss seeing him there, but wish him all the best in his exciting new position.

Love the shuttle bus service. That's why I take my ASX to Toyota...but OMG...the walk through video on my car is genius....showing me and telling me what and when things need replacing. Well done guys..."Oh what a feeling!" Robyn
