Hi I booked this room at 1.15 on a Saturday as I had thought I had been let down on my confirmed accommodation with another provider. I was charged 250.00. 30 minutes later I was told my previous booking was fine. There had been I mix up. I immediately went back to Pacific Harbour and they refused me any refund. They were not fully booked and I hadn’t entered the room other than to open the door. The room itself was dark and smelt really bad. I don’t think it had been used for a long time. It was also dated, very small and the one chair I did see was badly stained. Really ripped off by this provider.
Friendly staff clean rooms and a welcoming environment, they allowed me to check in early after having unexpected mishaps, they helped me with my bags as they saw i wasn't in the condition to be moving myself.nnStaff was a great help, recommending spots to visit while in the area, I highly recommend coming here
We stayed for a night. The rooms are dated with a capital D. They are clean, but could do with a major upgrade.nnDoes the job, but a basic 3 star stay.nnThe lady at the counter was nice.nnLocation wise, you would be better off staying at Hahei if visiting Cathedral cove and nearby attractions.
Extremely dated, overpriced, shower was useless, we travel widely and this was totally overrated .. fine as a basic motel but that is all
We booked a room overlooking the garden. It smelt like it was locked up for a while as it smelt damp. We asked to change rooms. The reception was happy to move us to an apartment and apologized. We were happy with that, thanks to her for that. The new room was lovely with great views.nJust needed work on the dusting side of things I.e light shade was so very dusty it rained dust when I hit it with my head.nGreat stay and we will be back.
