Hello everyone, my name is Marcote Videla, from Chili. I have 34 years experience in theater and festivals. I traveled all over South America, Central America, Asia and Europe. Now I have been living in New Zealand for 17 years. I work for festivals all around New Zealand and Europe. As I was a teacher and director of theater, I had a lot of experiences through those years. In my beginnings in Chili, I had the wonderful experience to work with the main director of the street theater from Chili (Mr Andreas Perez and Mauricio Celedon and Roberto Plablo Farina). My last theater group in Chili was Compania di circo tiatro del de sorden (a clowns group). I am a member of Alternative World Sailing Community also called the Drifting circus, which travels all over the world by boat to perform circus shows. This community is linked to the America Latine Community which is implanted in Auckland.
I recently opened a new space in Waipu, open to everyone. It is called Pacha Mama House. There will be many workshops through the summer, for free ! And later, there will be a rainbow gardening.
To any musician, actor, artist, circus people,... feel free to come to take part of this new creation !
