Great airfield in an even better location.nThe surface is grass with a firm sand base. Have always encountered good quality surface here.nThe beach is at one end of the runway and the shops and cafe are at the other. There is a motel within a 5 minute walk and golf course about a 15 minute walk.nHave also camped on the airfield with my plane. Great experiences.
Imagine flying to your Bach and avoiding hours of traffic. It would be a dream come true. A beautiful relaxing place to come too. Anyone flying from Whangaparaoa for the weekend please let me know! I can get the kids to wash your plane if helicopter down...
