Completely fantastic experience and coffee at Ozone in their Shoreditch. Having previously visited their Hackney location, I knew I would get an excellent brew. I was given a seat and ordered their Nicaraguan Drip. It was well balanced and well extracted. If came with a nice card explaining the roast as well. My oat flat white with their house roast blend was nice but I think their oat milk was a bit sour in my opinion... Otherwise great interior, smells, and sounds. A must visit and top 10 for London definitely. If you liked my review feel free to give it a and follow me on Google Maps for more coffee reviews!
Attended with my wife and daughter for a breakfast on a Saturday morning. Its a busy place with a nice atmosphere and my daughter loves it here. I found it a bit lacking if i am honest and i think it has built its reputation on coolness rather than amazing food. My breakfast was too dry. It could have done with beans or tomato or something. I wasn’t allowed to swap out my sausage for an extra rasher of bacon because they don’t permit changes. I can understand that where menus are carefully planned and specifically allocated like taster menus, but not in a restaurant where the menu offers sides of extra bacon or sausage etc. Not allowing swaps just felt lazy to me. The service was friendly enough. The coffee was really good
Taste 5/5, after visiting a couple of times But service is very slow…..need to wait for 15min for coffee. But when I sipped the coffee, 15min waiting was not a problem. Egg Benedict is their iconic dish and it is so good. French toast is also tasty. Kedegree and omelette are also good. Pastry is above average.
Great coffee, friendly service and excellent food. I love that so much of the menu is made in house and the company ethos of minimal waste. I feel very inspired to make changes in my own business with regards to sustainability after visiting here, i even took home one of the paper menu's to show my team whats possible. I love the venue too, its awesome seeing your food prepared in front of you and the huge coffee roaster downstairs! Will definitely visit again Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan or vegetarian options outside of the usual offerings. Dietary restrictions: Lots of dishes were able to be altered for dietary needs
only had a cup of cappuccino which was super good but the brunch menus looked quite nice too. All staff members were friendly and helpful. They have a variety of choices if you want to buy whole beans, and when you ask they grind it just right for your machine.
Ozone Coffee Roasters is one of the best gems in London. Australian-style brunch, mixed with local English favorites. Staff is friendly and shop is well designed for dining with friends or eating/reading alone. If you only have time for a quick coffee, their takeaway flat whites are amongst the best in the city. Try their other location too!
Great place for brunch. We had 4 dishes, such as eggs on sourdough with bacon, and pancakes.. everything was really delicious!! Great service, our waiters were very nice and attentive. I loved that they bring a little card explaining the origin of the coffe you are drinking, it’s a great touch to uplift your service. Very chill atmosphere, unfortunately there’s always a long queue outside for walk-in BUT it moves fairly fast. Super recommended!!
One of my favourite brunch spots in shoreditch. Amazing eggs Benedict on potato Patties bubble and squeak Benedict on the menu. The scrambled eggs on toast are so creamy and crispy. They’re experts in both coffee and food with an open kitchen that never ceases to delight. Have the coffee when you’re there. They roast their own coffee downstairs so they serve only the good stuff. It gets extremely busy on the weekends with queues starting from 10am leading to 30-45min wait and more if you’re there after 12. The crowd dies down around 2pm for the last orders. They stop serving brunch around 3pm. The crowds make service slow but they’re still nice despite being so busy. Expect to pay a service charge of 12.5% added to your bill when you dine in. Hope you like it here as much as I do!
The espresso was very aromatic with a pleasant acidic aftertaste. Got beans for home brewing as well and they smell great haven't tried them yet. Interesting interior with a long coffee bar, large sitting area and the roastery in the basement is a germ.
The coffee is definitely 5/5, we had a V60 and it was super smooth without any sour aftertaste which makes it fantastic. The brunch, food was good but I did find the bacon is really hard to chew and I wish they had a homemade ketchup or something it would fit the meal better. I think they should also utilize the spices a bit more.
