Cool events! When I walked in I saw a pop up studio where six artists were doing their work. Everyone was super friendly, and it looked like a strong group of artists gathered around the region. Amazing! I had a lot of good refreshing chats. For me as a big city person, this level of work was quite impressive to see in a small town. It left me an impression of a progressive gallery.nHighly recommend!
A great wee gallery just outside of Christchurch, well worth a visit! They’ve got monthly exhibitions and there’s always something different, with a range of both local artists and national artists you might otherwise find in bigger galleries. Their pop-up studio exhibitions are a great opportunity to meet the artists, as well! A great gallery shop attached - perfect for picking up a gift! Always interesting events on, too - well worth checking out and seeing what’s on!
Small gallery in the heart of Oxford that showcases art produced by local talent. My mother and I went to an exhibition and there were some very clever felting sculptures. Also there were some silk scarves with leaf patterns that were exquisite and I wish I had purchased one.
Well worth the visit. Very interesting to see artists at work and listen to their development of their project/work. Lovely tempting things to buy in the gallery shop too.Nice cafe nearby. Thoroughly good outing.
