Not sure how this place gets the positive reviews it does. Seriously! The beds are so soft, they are like marshmallows. The air conditioning is so loud and the noise inconsistent I thought I was going nuts. Other cars pulling up at night require no lights on with the curtains closed. A few miles up the road at the Y is much more reasonable and accommodating for the price Rooms: Spartan
Owl’s Nest location is great. Understandably dated but cozy. Lack of door security was an issue but overcome. Thank you for the pleasant nights rest. Nearby activities: Viddles and Joe restaurant is close by and great food.
This place is "old school" don't expect a lot of 5 star amenities. It's clean and inviting. the owners are perfect for this place Ma & Pa and very very nice. We have stayed here twice and will continue to stay here when we are in Hackensack. I highly recommend this place, if you are looking for clean, inviting and cheap.
Absolutely horrible place. There website says $450 a month until they find out you work on the pipeline and the guy try’s to charge you over a $1000 a month. No 50 amp service or cable or WiFi like the website says. I had called and confirmed the rate with the owners wife and she said yes $450 a month. My husband arrived and they almost tripled the cost for the month and only had 30 amp service. The gentleman next to us was told $550 a month then the owner changed his rate to over a $1k a month. They will lie to you do not stay here. Horrible greedy people.
It's got classic-american charm. Mom and pop run. Mom and pop are very nice and accommodating. Very clean. Modern electric chargers don't fit into their two pronged, recessed electric outlets well. That's my only complaint.Rooms: 4/5
Rooms are really comfy and clean. Rooms are very well priced even for summer time in the area. If you have a boat they have electric hookups to charge up. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.Rooms: 5/5
Extremely clean!! Everything tidy & in good repair. Had to stay on short notice 'cause our cabin lost power. Now we know it's a place we can recommend to others or extra guests we can't accommodate.
Owners are very nice and accommodating. Only has 9 rooms but is very clean for a small place. Price was great! We will definitely be back!Rooms: 5/5

Stayed here definitely worth the price walking distance to the beach and places to eat. Helpful staff. Rooms are clean plan to bring my future wife here and enjoy the north woods
