Owairoa Primary School

Well arranged with good number of teachers who supervised the students. Good quality of teaching with many education facilities. The school is far from the bus stop and it is difficult to drop off and pick up chlidren as the street is narrow and usually crowded in the morning, for that the Wellington street is more preferable. The school need a transport facilities for the students. Shopping for the school uniform is online only. There are classes that support child's at age 5 years old, transition to school. The school includes a swimming pool and two playing fields Owairoa means the flat water or Oceania in Maori language is multi cultural diverse and it is good provider for quality education.

My daughter has been studying in this school for a year. The teachers and principal behave very well and I was very satisfied, but I do not recommend after school care. My daughter went here during the school holidays and in an accident she broke her nose in three places, and they kept her from morning to afternoon in pain without any ice pack or informing me, and when i picked her up, not only did they not apologize, but the manager of this complex rudely refused to email and report me of what happened to my daughter and after calling her several times, she said that there was nothing I could do!

Great international program that welcomed us even for a short-term 4-week enrollment. The teachers included our 3 kids seamlessly.

I will never forget the way my child and I were treated when we visited this school to enquire about enroling. The principal was judgemental, rude, and made us both feel unsafe. I see a lot of great reviews here, but our experience was the complete opposite. Your principal acts differently when presented with people who have suffered domestic violence and bullying.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! You have friendship benches and all the teachers are so nice! I always can't wait to go back after the holidays to this amazing school! I think EVERYONE should come here

An amazing school, fantastic teachers,such a great environment and all round fun,you can also head along over the weekends and play on the fields and the kids can play in the playgrounds, you can also use the cricket nets,once a year they have a gala which is the best out of all of them.

Beautiful people. Lovely staff. An A+ learning facility with a good captain at the helm. Thankyou Owairoa Primary for being such a huge blessing to my family, especially my two girls, Valentine and Valerie xox...

Have they gotten rid of ms Oliver yet shes an awful teacher and made my years here a living hell

This school is really bad if the principal left it would probable be a better school
