Otumoetai Intermediate School

I personally hated this school. The principal sucks. He asked my mum if I belonged to this school because I have anxiety? The school aid for kids with special needs is not the best. She told me she needed to brush her teeth and left while I was in the middle of a panic attack. The teachers are decent but the overall school is less than favorable. The hospital I went to for mental health also had said to me my mum that they have problems with this principal for kids with special needs. The school values excellence and sometimes sports above all else. If your kid has any special needs I would think a bit before sending them here.

This school is amazing, the staff is very responsible, helpful and friendly. I am so happy my daughter decided to change to the OIS.

Really disappointed in this school. My son does sports 7 days a week playing fed football and kick boxing. He trains hard every day helps teach a junior class was a sports leader and dynamo at his primary school. But did not get into the sports academy program as he is not sporty enough. I don't know what more he could do to get in. The selection process was done by 1 teacher. If you have sporty kids Tauranga intermediate has alot more to offer. I would recommend going there

Unlike other people, I think this school is a great school to go to for everyone my experience there was amazingnnAnd I would go back there without any thought
