Otara Town Centre

Pretty cool place. One issue was shops look a bit sad and rubbish was everywhere, bins where overflowing; council needs to step up their game. Otherwise there was some good food and parking, so very recommend.

Lovely people and a variety of shops that are not easy to find across Auckland. I highly recommend that this place is invested in. Many people visit here weekly and this is a pinnacle of our economy with farmers and different businesses coming through weekly. If it is upgraded and invested in more and the people are looked after better, there is a high potential for more tourism and attractions here. Just a suggestion, besides that, I appreciate the hard work put into this place.

Parking was pretty good, especially for those with mobility card. That's great. The buildings could do with some sprucing up, as they look old and dilapidated. Good hose down and paint. New signage. When an area looks clean and tidy, makes it more tempting for people to check it out. Some very appetizing food store and the smell, yummy. Didn't buy any food this round. Really just did a look around.

The best time to go to Otara would be on a Saturday for the flea market. There's plenty of different kind of food and it also gets pretty busy. So come and see it for yourselves.

I hardly go there now for other reasons only I used to go out there alot but now it's just once in a blue moon . It's changed alot now but still abit same just a little bit now they have really tidy up and aslo got another gas station now where the KFC was suppose to go but that didn't happen .. but other places are still there . I like the roast place it's nice as and worry the money

I love the otara markets!!! They have very competitive pricing, so you might buy something, and later find the same thing but maybe bigger and cheaper in the next isle up.. Only that is frustrating the fruit and veg are awesome. I go every 2nd weekend for fruit and veg for my grandaughter, they are fresh off the truck, I love that, another thing I love is the array OF jewelery and gems from both Islanders and Maori..,then there's seafood and clothing, and food stalls galore... Love love love being a part if this community

Market on Saturday mornings always worth the visit. Have been going for 20 odd years. Do try the Vegetarian Vietnamese at the market.

Safe and awesome place filled with all the treasures you won't find anywhere else. Home for all. Place for the lovers movers shakers and chilled. Food to cater your every craving. Don't forget to share your beautiful smile around.

I only go to the Saturday market here but it is a good place to find pacific island food items like taro, cassava, plantain, taro leaves, etc.

Apart from the gang fights and the riff raff that usually are persistent there, I'm only giving 3 stars due to the flea markets every Saturday which are one of the best in auckland
