Story

Welcome to Ōtaki and District Memorial R.S.A.

The original branch of the Ōtaki R.S.A. was formed in 1919. The club was reformed in 1934 and moved to its present location in 1963. We currently have over 1,400 members who are young and old, male and female, from all walks of life with diverse interests.

Come along and visit or become a member and enjoy the welcoming and friendly atmosphere, great facilities and excellent service.

Visiting Otaki we were told this was a great place for a meal by a barman in another establishment - they were right! Lovely food and the musician, Rex, had an amazing voice and sang 'our type' of songs, 60's, 70's, 80's, great!
Food took awhile; but, there were a lot of us. Staff are great and food yummy.
Highly recommended to everyone, great service, amazing pricing on food and beverages. Lots of fun and games
Mains were fantastic. Desserts were ok just a little exspensive. Drinks were average priced. Could've done with an extra person on front of house for dinnertime rush but nothing to put me off going again. Nice relaxed vibe. Other patrons were polite and friendly as well.

Friendly people in a busy place for Members Draw. Great food fresh and tasty, wonderful live vocal musician playing all our faves. Love it!
Good facility , with restaurant , bar , gaming , snooker and pool tables to name a few drawer cards , we had a nice meal at a very fair price , and met some friendly people there . a good first experience for a casual evening out .
Just returned to the place we are staying while on holiday from a lovely evening at the Otaki R.S.A my partner and i had a nicely cooked meal each my partner had really nicely cooked fish and chips and i had a Thai green curry and a will presented pudding consisting of crepes and icecream and cream and fruit salad. I certainly think you get $10's worth for the main meal and the $8 pudding on Tuesday night's. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and well go out of their way to help you, also all the club members are very friendly and welcoming to and certainly make visitors feel welcome we both will certainly come back the next time we are visiting Otaki.
A great friendly club facility geared for the whole community. Recently celebrated its centenary. Great restaurant, pokies, snooker and pool, darts, indoor bowls from 1 October, regular live music and dancing. And much more that you have to come and see for yourself.
This is a massive space. Very few people mostly older An amazing selection of pool tables possibly snooker too?. A juke box and dance floor. I think there are activities sometimes too. But! The best bit! The good was AWESOME! I didn't get a photo of the Salmon that was presented beautifuly. This place has great potential. You can go a couple times as a visitor. Then join. Joining is cheap!
