OK please read until end.nGoogle has no idea where this place is takes you to a place on the opposite side of the road. There was a place on the other side I though might be abandoned.nYep that was the motel.nSo with much trepidation I pulled into the parking lot and went to the office. I was met by a well presented person who gave me a key and sent me on my way.nThere are only 5 units I stayed in No 5.nI turn the key and entered a very dated looking unit. Two bedrooms one with a queen bed which turned out to be extremely comfortable. The kitchen as the rest of the unit was very dated. But perfectly adequate for my needs with a proper stove/oven plenty of cupboard space and newish plates cups etc. Small fridge. Walked into the bathroom and was very pleasantly surprised to find a very clean modern room with new shower, vanity unit and toilet nothing dated there.nThere was a table that would comfortable seat four dinner and a very comfortable sofa.nEach of the rooms were not cramped bar the kitchen but that was fine.nI spent three of the most comfortable days there while painting a house not far away.nAnd I have being doing a lot of out of town work, so have stayed in few places.nIf you need a place to stay on your way south this place is is very comfortable and warm.nIt's shame that first impressions are so foreboding because it really is quite cozy and would easily fit a family of four.
Older motel but still warm and quiet. Kitchen limited and old. New motorway makes it a great place to stop over for the night ahead of a ferry sailing. Close to BP for early morning top up on furl and coffee. Team very helpful and family unit very quiet despite being wedged between motorway and old highway.
Great price and friendly service. The decor is dated, but that doesn't worry us. The room had everything we needed and was clean. The shower pressure was nice and vigorous. Really the only downside was a bit of a disturbed sleep from motorway noise. We didn't realise it was quite so close to the traffic.
Awesome place. Very friendly and helpful .nEasy Truck parking.nRooms are spotless. I Highly reccomendnRichard even had the heat pump on ready for my arrival. Fantastic stay.
Great value and super friendly staff. Fond the rooms to have everything I could need. Loved the charm.
