Otahuhu College

I'm an ex student from the late 80s into the early 90s. I was a Grey House student. Love my sports. I Finished 6th form then joined army on a 5 year tour of duty in East Timor. Got married in 97 after our first seed was born. 3 girls and 2 boys later. 2024, my wife had passed due to sickness 2002. Miss her everyday. But hey life goes on. I've just turned 57. Love my life with my 15 grand children ì⁸ķ

I was in Seddon 5 for year 11, and the year 11 dean Miss Peacre is actually one of the nicest people I've ever met as she and the social worker Viso helped me to enroll in Te Kura so thank you guys so much for all the support

Bad, first of all their football coaches literally told on of his own players to get tf out of the field, and got triggered when the player said it was just a game, second their football players and rugby players tried to start a fight when they lost, unbelievable.

This college is one of the best colleges where I have studied. At the moment I'm still schooling at this college. It gave Me a great experience till now.

April 2023 As a proud former pupil of Otahuhu College it is always a great day when I visit the college. Although the teachers from my time have passed or moved on, it is great to see and learn that the teachers of today are passing on to the current pupils, similar values and traditions that l learnt in my time. The current students are equally proud of their school house as I was. As the school motto KIA TAMATANE Be strong like Tamatane says.

This new junior uniform needs to go especially the navy blue shirt. Please whoever does the design for the school uniforms be more fashionable and add a light colour for the junior shirt, junior skirt is already dark enough. It is the most ugliest uniform i have ever seen. Appreciate it.

Time went by so fast! I'm currently in my last year's and honestly it was a journey. From Haka Waita to the system changing for NCEA was a ruffle. Good luck for 2K24 everyone. 31/01/24, school is today!!

Mary, the guidance counselor is racist and only defends the students in her groups. I was bullied and threatened by one of the boys in her anti-bullying group, but when I had talked to her about it, she dismissed his "I'm going to kill you" threat and made it seem like my fault because I had physically defended myself by pushing him away when he had grabbed me on school grounds. She also did not talk to the other two students who had witnessed the incident. She held a "parent student" meeting, but continued to blame me, never let me tell the boys parents about his threat and when I tried to, she silenced me by saying "I used to work in a prison". Okay? And? You now work with children at a highschool. After the meeting, she then pulled me to the side after everyone had left and said "I'm surprised you weren't suspended". Get a better guidance counsellor that doesn't make students feel unsafe and unheard.

Otahuhu College is a beautiful place. It's a school rich in academic and sports history and we've got the photos displayed in the building to prove it. More so, we are simply a diverse group of people who have got love for music and we definitely do not treat our teachers like dirt. If anything, I take hospitality there and the teachers love what we organize for them. Awesome food people...only 5 bucks

It good to me close to walk to the shopping center ,walking around the blocks is good to meet with the Otahuhu family community, even though I saw people they look walk exercising . And some they running around their car they look stranger, but we should be exercising,walking ,running and walk around the shop be careful to watch out and help to those they need your help they are part of our family community and think about ,if they are your children ,mom grandma ,uncle what is the.
