Such a wonderful experience. We were headed out of the country and made a whirlwind trip to Hobbiton. The staff were amazingly fast and helped us keep our ticketed time.nnThe food was absolutely delicious as well. Check out their daily lunch specials for $20! Definitely worth the stop!
The pizza was amazing, would give that 5 stars! We ordered a few dishes and the spaghetti was missed on the first serve so the person who ordered spaghetti had their food after we finished ours. The linguine had clam shells but no luck in finding the clams…however, the entrees were lovely! The tomatoes were fresh, sweet and flavorful and the duck liver was perfect.nThe atmosphere would have been 10/10 if the lighting was warmer. Dining under dim cold white light does not encourage appetite.
We'd go again. Lovely happy staff. Good sustaining, delicious food in good proportions. The waitresses sang happy birthday to my wife which was lovely, loud and in tune. They let us bring a cake I made. We left them some as a thank you.
A rare gem amongst regional towns. Enjoyed the pizza, prawn spaghetti, steak sandwich and chicken fettuccini. Doughy pizza crust was a nice surprise. Nice ambience too. Seems a definite standout in terms of places to dine in Matamata.
Lovely visit, staff were super lovely and the vibe of the place was great they had a seperate gluten free menu which was great with lots of options! Delicious food. Would definitely come back!
