OSPRI was set up through a partnership agreement between industry and government and manages two world-class programmes – NAIT and TBfree. NAIT captures data to trace individual animal movements. TBfree plays a vital part by eradicating bovine TB and helping to keep it out of our herds. These programmes work together, hand-in-glove.
OSPRI is here to help protect and enhance the reputation of New Zealand’s primary industries. With NAIT that means giving market assurance through lifetime traceability and with TBfree that means eradicating bovine tuberculosis (TB) from New Zealand.
