We dropped in here for a take-out coffee on our road trip. The whole experience was a pleasure. Coffee was outstandingly good, the chat was entertaining and the vibe was chill; all in the old railway station building. Recommend anyone passing through Otorohanga and wanting coffee to stop awhile.
My large group descended upon this unsuspecting establishment and flooded the counter with orders. Despite the pressure, the staff remained collected, calm and steadily dispatched orders. My latte was close to the end of the queue and it was still delicious! Great job and service!
They really know how to make good coffee. They have a very professional and almost nerdy way to make a great shot. The roast their own beans and measure exactly the quantities to ensure perfect results.
It's 'only' a coffee shop in an old train station, but it has so much character and, most importantly, superb coffee.nnIncluding a nice chat with the owner when it's not too busy.
Probably the best place in town to get a coffee. I loved how the coffee came with a jaffa and a little cookie. The guy there is super friendly which made it helpful. If you are just driving through then make a quick coffee stop here.
