Orewa Wool was started in 1968 to fundraise for St John’s, stocking bulk carpet wools.
We, my late husband Barry and I purchased Orewa Wool in 1988 and expanded on the carpet wool, introducing most knitting wools and some haberdashery. Since then the business has changed and whilst our wool and haberdashery range has grown we no longer stock carpet wool.
For the last 24 Years we have been servicing the local community with retail sales and nationally we mail order with knitting wools / buttons / zips / needles etc.
For the past 8 years, John and I have continued to provide the same great service and have expanded to provide online shopping for as we like to offer an easy way for our local and international customers to buy the very best of New Zealand wools.
