nnWe’ve been to the Orewa Surf Club twice now since the new management took over, and I’ve got to say, the food was really disappointing. Honestly, it felt like something I could’ve pulled out of the freezer and thrown in the air fryer at home.nnOn the bright side, the service was good—friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome. It’s such a shame because it’s in a prime location with amazing views and so much potential to be a top spot in Orewa. It just seems like a such wasted opportunity! I think they’d do better with a simple menu focusing on a few well-made dishes with fresh food,nnFingers crossed they step it up in the kitchen, because I’d love to see this place thrive!
My fault for not checking at time of purchace. 2 x fish burgers and a handful of fries $64.00 takeaway. Tastes same as down the road but only $24.00 down the road. Yes i feel very ripped off. Again, my fault for assuming. But i wont be back.
Orewa Beach is such a beautiful beach to visit. Lots of people out swimming, running, paddleboarding and having a picnic.nWe had lots of fun relaxing while the kids swam and played footy in the sand.
Great location, great food and great service.nWell worth the trip to Orewa.
