I have always had exceptional service from Petra and her team at Orewa Optics. Nothing is ever too much trouble in guiding me with personal and professional help. This advice extends to minor surgery as well as regular checkup and the choosing of beautiful modern frames within their conviently located store .
I have been using Orewa Optics for many years for eye tests and glasses, and the service has always been excellent. They will go the extra mile and have done whatever they can to help out, especially for the small but often important things, like broken or bent frames. Highly recommended.

Receptionist made an error with our booking admitted by the owner as their mistake. We were charged full price for an appointment we didn’t even want. Owner said they’d call me back - they never bothered. Terrible service and experience. We won’t be back.

Excellent service all through. Exam very thorough, friendly and professional. New frames and fitting also friendly and helpful, and new script and glasses perfect. Thank you, I have had to rely on good glasses for over 50 years so it is very important to me.
Simply the best staff and service. We are visiting from Canada and had 2 pairs of broken glasses. When I took the first pair in, the Manager ran out of the store following the Frames Salesman who had just left the store and brought him back to look at my frames. A replacement was organized, under warranty, and the glasses repaired at absolutely no cost. When I took in the second, back up pair, which had been sat or stood on, they again repaired the glasses at no cost. We are not regular customers, but the service was outstanding and the staff extremely professional and friendly. We are telling everyone we know where they should shop for their eyewear. Thank you!

Pleasantly surprised by the great service from Helen. Front counter staff are also helpful and very nice to deal with. The clinic itself is very pleasant to be in and it's located nice and centrally in Orewa. Perfect place to go if you need high quality service! I can't say anything about pricing as it was my first time going to an optometrist so I do not know what prices elsewhere are like, my rating is on the service I received.
