We are a community-based organisation that provides a relaxed and fun-filled environment for pre-school children.

We operate from Monday to Thursday, 9.30am to 12.00pm catering for a maximum of 35 children per day (ranging from 1 to 5 years old).



"Community Hall Hire. Hall 1: Oratia Settlers Hall. Large Heritage Hall with deck. 2. Oratia Small Hall heritage building with adjoining fenced playground, opens to public domain. Hire for your next community event, wedding, party, kid's party, Home to many community groups: Scouts, Oratia Playgroup, yoga, karate etc. Oratia Halls are Council owned halls run and managed by the Oratia R&R, a volunteer community committee."

Lovely old hall, we've used it for our kids birthday party afew times now. Has everything you need, a small kitchen, tables chairs bathrooms parking outside and a playground that's gated to keep the little ones in. Hiring the hall is super easy and will be doing it again forsure.
Have had many childrens birthdays in the small hall...it is perfect with the playground right there, fully fenced in space to stop the kids running into the parking lot and also enough space inside incase it rains...has always been clean and tidy when I have arrived to set up.
Great facility. Simple, clean, accessible. Space and chairs for everyone.

K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid type events that need to be indoors will suit this venue. Really well maintained, perfect indoor space for a large family gathering!
Nice place to hire for venue. Only downside was that the previous people who hired hall the night before left all their stuff in the hall and was a complete mess. Very stressful trying to setup a 5 year old party when they are still clearing stuff out at 10am and party starts at 11am. Hall is tidy and has good bathroom amenities. Kitchen is dated but works. Overall good place. Would hire again.
Great hall for kids birthday parties. Had our son's 5th birthday here and the playground was brilliant at tiring them all out. Good size and good facilities.
Hire this hall out for the day. An absolute lovely kid friendly place. Cater for 140 guest. Would difinatly hire out this place again.
Great for young kids birthday parties. Playground right next to the hall as well as a big grass area to run around on.
Such a good space. Nice and tidy and user friendly. The children loved the nicely shaded playground.
