We didn’t stay at the hotel but instead went to the restaurant. The pan fried salmon had the most incredible crust and well seasoned, The Friday special of lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and well matched with the thick flavoursome gravy, mash and perfectly steamed seasonal vegetables. They were preparing for a large crowd judging by the reserved tables but kept checking in on us for drinks etc. an absolute fabulous evening!!
Was ok. The restaurant staff didn't give us much info on the menu or that their wasn't some things available. Also their sign did say under 10s dine free with a condition of spending over so much. Spent over 150 but still paid for the 3yo. Food was okay for what I had
We did not stay, we are local and regularly have meals here. Fantastic meals, good value for money. We go here oftern and are never disappointed.Rooms: 5/5

Gagan at Surf in cooked the most amazing fresh red snapper I have ever had!!! Was amazing definitely recommend their food. Plus the restaurant room was so nice and the setting was lovely, clean and fresh looking great decor for a small town pub very impressed Service: 5/5
We ordered a chicken burger and beef burger takeaway. Chicken burger was amazing and would get again. Unfortunately the beef was cold and raw. We rung up to let them know and the man on the phone was apologetic and said they never get complaints. He then said that the chef would call us back. This never happened. We would have preferred that they just offered to recook the burger, we would have come back to pick it up. Upset that we paid for an inedible meal and felt let down by the follow up service. *edit as can’t reply directly to your reply. We love the Surf Inn. The meals here never disappoint. The salmon last night was superb - perfectly cooked and super generous. This is our local and we love it Service: 5/5
