Optimise Hockey Coaching is a dedicated, athlete-focused provider with a holistic approach to player/team development.

Story

The brand "Optimise Hockey Coaching" officially started at the beginning of 2017 in Napier, Hawke's Bay. Although, my first coaching role was almost 20 years ago in the U.K.. I have been involved in many aspects of the game as a player, official, administrator and coach. I have developed my skills and knowledge base at a variety of levels, in Schools, Universities, Clubs and at representative levels.

My coaching 'style' has evolved over the years, thanks mostly to the great people I've had the opportunity to work with. I like to think of my style as holistic as I place equal emphasis on the mental, physical, technical and tactical elements of athlete development.

All Optimise coaching is bespoke and led by the needs of the specific individual or group.
