The staff at this store are amazing. Super helpful and patient. After 3 weeks looking through multiple stores I decided to purchase my first pair of reading glasses from this store. All the staff here are amazing. They patiently helped me with my selection allowing me time to choose the perfect pairs. If you need new glasses or even need to replace your old glasses go to this store. They will not disappoint you. Thank you so much
I tried multiple different optometrists and wasn’t fully satisfied until I found Ash and Sharon. They are super helpful, patient and friendly. The cost has been worth the high quality frames, lenses and service I receive here
A very disappointing experience at this store, from the moment I entered for my appointment the focus was sales and looking for new frame options. I was only there to check my prescription. Once the prescription was confirmed they would not write down what i needed, just pushing that I should purchase now while the sale was on, and they were best positioned to recommend what suited me the most. All I said was that I would come back with a family member to select frames. Decided to get a second opinion at another OPSM and received a much better service.
OPSM on Hurstmere were so friendly especially after I had a not so great service with another company. They explained all my different options for new frames and didn’t pressure me into buying the most expensive frames. Would highly recommend the whole team!

Very unhappy Customer Recently I had my eyes tested at the Takapuna Beach OPSM Friday 8th July and a fill in optometrist was working and put wrong solution in my eyes and i was blinded for 5 hrs with horrific headaches and could not safely drive my vehicle nor continue working in my business for the day. Upon speaking with someone at the store I said I'd like compensation for this and wanted my frames for free and I'd pay for the lenses. But upon revisiting the store this has not been the case and was offered a meagre $140 discount I'm not a happy customer and was originally a Spec savers client and never had this issue at all for the years i visited then and came to OPSM as i was wanting a better experience and service and have been let down by you and your brand terribly I'm also business owner and this is just very very bad customer service and care tbh and will be taking the matter further with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board. A smile and a small discount does not even come close to the loss of trust, loss of income because of not being to continue working and 6+ hours of extreme headaches I experienced and on top of this not being able make the 90 minute drive home.
The team at OPSM Hurstmere Rd is so friendly and professional and Sharon helped me to find the perfect frames for my first glasses! Ash is the best optometrist and I always receive the best service here.

The lady at reception was so rude and told me I couldn’t get a drivers license test without purchasing prescription glasses on the day of my drivers eye test. Do NOT go here for this. She made me feel inadequate and was awful
I went there to get an eye test for my little girl. She was very satisfied with optometrist and She was trying on all kinds of different frames. The lovely staff helped her find the best option. The store provides a wide range of frame and also, Great service and very efficient and friendly people. Highly recommended!
