Story

We are located on the banks of the Waioeka River adjacent to the town wharf and boat ramp. The nearby Waiotahi and Hukawai beaches are popular for fishing, swimming and surfing.

Relax in a rural setting, only 200m from the Opotiki town centre with a range of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Enjoy a dip in our swimming pool, kayak along the river, fish from the wharf or enjoy a native bush walk.

We stayed two nights with our dogs. The park is dog friendly which is great. However, there seemed to be no rules or very few observing the rules. Others dogs were running around off leash, barking at people, barking at night. The bathrooms were also frequently unclean. We likely won't stay again.

Awesome place to camp cheap as can do anything you want long as you respect other campers I loved it there
Lovely place. The receptionist was SO nice to me. The kitchen and bathroom were clean though it was a smidge difficult to figure out the shower. I stayed 2 nights and saw a weird bird. They use Zenbu as thier Wi-Fi. I'd go again.
Good stay. Kitchen could use a revamp.
My daughter is there and she loves it
